Editorial policy

This page says how PacketNebula is made, what we promise, and what happens when we get something wrong. It's written for readers, and for anyone deciding whether to trust a number they found here.

What we publish

Tools are small programs that run in your browser. The logic is ordinary deterministic code, not AI, and most of them test themselves against reference values every time the page loads. Guides are short, answer-first walkthroughs of commands and procedures. Analysis covers announcements in AI models and the infrastructure under them: what was announced, what is actually confirmed, and what it changes for people who run systems.

How we handle facts and sources

Every figure that isn't ours carries a link to its source, listed at the end of the page. For news analysis we look for the primary source first (the vendor's own post, the filing, the court order, the specification) and at least one independent one. A claim that only the vendor makes is written as the vendor's claim. A rumour is written as a rumour, with the name of whoever reported it. We don't invent a price, a benchmark score, a version number or a date to make a sentence flow. When we can't confirm something, the page says so.

When a version or a price changes, we add a dated "What changed since" entry to the page that covers it, and its title follows the current version. When a newer page fully replaces an older one and the old answer is now wrong, the old address redirects to the new page rather than staying online with stale numbers.

How AI is used

PacketNebula is produced with the help of an AI assistant, Claude, from Anthropic. The author sets the topics and the editorial rules written on this page, and is responsible for everything published here. Drafting and research for news analysis are assisted by AI, within those rules, and every page goes through automated checks before it is published. Tool logic, formulas and code are written to be verifiable and are covered by self-tests, rather than trusted because an AI wrote them.

Independence and money

Nobody pays to be covered, and we don't sell reviews, link exchanges or sponsored posts presented as guides. If ads appear, they are placed by an ad network and don't influence what we write. If a page contains affiliate links, they're marked as sponsored and we only add them where they fit the subject.

Corrections

If you find an error, tell us, with the page and the exact claim. If you have a better source, send it. When a mistake changes what a reader would do, we fix it in place and note the correction and its date on the page. Small typos are fixed without ceremony.

Privacy

What you type into the tools stays in your browser, and nothing from Google loads on tool pages. The details are in the privacy policy.
